Help, answered.

Answers for each step, and a direct line to the desk.

KYC

What do I need to complete KYC?

PAN, an identity proof, a bank account and a demat account, with matching proofs uploaded on the KYC page. The desk reviews every submission before you can send a buy or sell request.

How do I know the status of my KYC?

Your account page shows whether KYC is not completed, under review, verified or needs action. If it needs action, the reason is shown on the KYC page.

Can I browse bonds before KYC is verified?

Yes. Browsing, saving bonds and using the calculator do not need verified KYC. Sending a request to the desk does.

Buying

How does a buy request work?

You choose a bond and a quantity and send a request. The desk reviews it, confirms terms and punches the trade. Offer yields are indicative until the desk confirms.

Browse bonds ↗Track requests ↗

Does sending a request execute a trade?

No. A request or a completed KYC does not itself execute a trade. The trade exists once the desk confirms it and issues your confirmation.

Can I check the numbers first?

Use the settlement calculator to see principal, accrued interest, stamp duty and settlement amount before you send a request.

Selling

How do I sell a bond I hold?

Open your portfolio, choose the holding and send a sell request. The desk reviews it, agrees a price with you and settles the sale. Only desk-settled holdings can be sold this way.

Portfolio ↗

Where do I see my sell request?

Under Orders, in the sell requests section, with its current status and the deal confirmation once issued.

Settlement

When do bonds reach my demat?

After the trade is settled through clearing on the settlement date shown on your ticket. Platform records do not confirm a demat credit; check your depository statement.

When do I see the holding in my portfolio?

Official positions appear after the desk settles and punches the trade. Self-declared imports are labelled separately and are not part of official reports.

Interest payouts: what does 'expected' mean?

Expected income replays the published coupon schedule. It is shown as received only once the desk has sent a payout advice. Check your bank credit for the actual money.

Where are my confirmations?

Order and deal confirmations are on each completed order under Orders. They stay available to you after sign-in.

Orders ↗

Can I download a tax certificate?

No. The Reports page gives expected and recorded income, indicative TDS and a holdings statement in CSV, Excel and PDF, but it is not a tax certificate. For TDS certificates use Form 16A from the deductor and your Form 26AS/AIS.

Fees and pricing

Is there any intermediary markup?

No IFA or intermediary markup is ever added to the price you are quoted. The price on your order ticket is the price you pay, shown with accrued interest and statutory stamp duty itemised.

What does the settlement amount consist of?

Clean price, plus accrued interest, plus stamp duty where applicable. The calculator and your ticket show each part separately.
